The 365 Nantucketers project is an idea conceived by the Nantucket Photography Club (NPC)
The goal of the project in its basic form is to collect 365 portraits of Nantucketers with the intent to produce a photo exhibit during the summer of 2009.
The goal, in its deeper form is to capture a cross section of the complicated fabric of the
island, the people who live and work here, for 365 days of the year, the hardy year rounder!
From cleaner to bank manager, carpenter to realtor, store clerk to airline pilot. The project will serve as the unofficial yearbook of an Island community, which changes from year to year.
